Why and when I have to investigate my birthmarks and other skin formations?
The birthmarks and other skin formations are regularly exposed to different factors: external such as the ultraviolet radiation and internal such as hormonal factors. In the long run they may provoke some changes of the internal structure. The inheritance plays an important role as well. The ultraviolet radiation (particulary solarium) exposes a high risk of transformation into malignant changes. Melanoma or malignant birthmark frequently affects young people therefore it is strongly recommended to visit dermatologist and investigate birth marks or other skin formations, especially if a family member has ever had melanoma, or if birth marks change in color, diameter, structure, bleed, itch or hurt. Discuss preventive measures with your doctor and do not underestimate the need of regular prophylactic. Your doctor will examine the formations with a dermatoscope for an early and timely response to a problem.
What is a dermatoscope and how is it applied?

What is the difference between the classic/SPA and medical pedicure?
The medical pedicure is performed only by a certified specialist (podiatrist) with medical education. It helps to target foot problems such as hyperkeratosis (thickness of the skin), splits or fissurae, fungal damages of foot skin or nails, ingrown nail, warts and other problems. To solve medical problems refer them to a professional and require a competent advice to avoid foot problems in the future as well.
